When it comes to losing weight, you must mentally prepare yourself for the task. The weight loss journey is not only physically exhausting, but it can take a toll mentally. There are times in which you won’t want to get out of bed, eat the healthy foods at brunch, or run the extra mile. Everyone goes through this, regardless of how often you go to the gym or how long you have been on your fitness journey. While some of you have already begun your fitness New Year’s resolutions, take the time to self-assess if your mind is really up for the challenge and if not what do you need to do to get it there?. I recommend that you, not only have a trainer, but also have an accountable partner/friend who understands and support your goals. Find the people who will call you to wake up for the gym, meet you there, and tell you not to order the bottomless mimosas because of all the unnecessary sugar.
