In one week I will be reintroducing foods back onto my day to day because Whole30 will be over! No we aren't supposed to be on the scale until the day after our last day, but so far I can see a major reduction in bloating around my stomach, my waist is a little smaller and I have so much more energy. The purpose of Whole30 if to eliminate certain food groups like sugar, dairy, legumes for 30 days and once you add them back into your day to day diet see how your body reacts to it. Dairy might make you bloat so when you wake up puffy after eating some Ice cream you know it could be dairy and sugars that make you look like a human pumpkin the next day haha. I have truly learned a lot about myself in this process. Cooking food, not going out to drink al the time I have even saved a little more money. Yes shopping organic is a little more expensive, but going places like the farmers market and even trader joe's helps out tremendously. And with all these recent E coli outbreaks and what not it might not be the worst option anyways, Tomorrow I am going to take some time and post a few recipes that helped me get through the 30 days fairly easily so make sure you check back in!
