Did you miss me!!!?? I have missed you all soooo much! Simply Kaye had to take little break to get her mind right. My blog wasn't running the way I wanted to and I had to figure out why. My conclusion......I wasn't speaking on my passion. After completing the September Whole30 challenge (that is starting up again tomorrow by the way) I learned a lot. I finally figured out my passion was in helping minorities understand how much food and fitness can help reduce a TON illnesses that affect our society today. One example would be my father, he struggles with Type 2 diabetes he participated in the September Whole30 challenge and his sugar numbers were so in line it shocked his Doctor. As soon as Whole30 was finished and he went for his next visit his numbers were through he roof. Just in those 30 days it was clear to me what we put in our bodies have a greater impact than what we choose to acknowledge. Maybe because we think healthier eating means you eat gross, bland food or parking in that farther parking spot is too much because we don't want to walk that far. Whatever it is Simply Kaye 2019 is here to challenge that frame of mind and covert people into believers. Every single month we will focus on an issue that impacts the minority society and align our fitness and food post to help inform and ultimately reduce the amount of people living with that particular ailment. I want all of my follows to encourage their followers to actively participate in our challenges and share our post so that we can reach more and more people. The month of January we are going to be doing Whole30 again to jump start our year the right way.
